How??

I read my favorite blogs on a daily basis. I try to. But what I don't understand is how?? How do they have time to write an amazing blog entry everyday? Do mind blowing projects? And cook unbelievable dinners?? I can barely keep my house in working order, and my head on my shoulders!! What on earth am I doing wrong?? It makes my brain hurts. I hope that soon I can be blogging daily with great projects and the crazy things that my kids do on a daily basis. *SIGH* a girl can dream.

Bucket List

Do you have a bucket list? I know I'm only pushing 30, but there are things that I WANT to do before I kick the bucket. And shooting guns is one of those. It's not that I want to be a professional or anything like that. I just want to know how to handle a gun, so that I am not scared of them. They are very intimidating!! So, my husband took me skeet shooting!!! It was amazingly difficult and fun!

PULL!!!

Yeah, that's me holding a big 'ol gun!!

I shot 3 rounds. Of the 75 bullets I shot I think I hit like 6 of the disc things. Not very good, but it was my first time. I would get so excited when I hit one, it was really cool to see the clay shatter in the air!

Michael did so much better, but he's an experienced shooter. It was a fun afternoon spent just the two of us, Shootin' stuff!

Tell me about your bucket list. And have you ever been skeet shooting?

Fort Leavenworth's Post Wide Yard Sale

This morning, from 6am to 3pm, was the Post Wide Yard Sale. Every household on Post, and even those people who live off post, are able to buy a permit and have a yard sale. Can you imagine, hundreds and hundreds of yard sales! Lots of junk, but some pretty good treasures! We went out today, and I snapped some photos to show you. It's pretty crazy.

It's one of the craziest days I have ever seen. People want to find some good bargains, and they aren't afraid to haggle for it. We didn't get anything today, although we did buy lemonade and cookies from almost every kids stand. Just wanted to share a little glimpse into my life here on post.

Taking Big Steps for a Little Person

I just opened an Etsy shop... gulp...

It's scary putting myself out there, for everyone to see my work. And to think someone might actually buy my stuff is mind blowing!

So if you wouldn't mind, please go check my stuff out. Dinosaurs and Kites.

Besides that, Easter was great fun!

The kids had so much fun hunting eggs. Well, not hunting, more like picking them up.

Tavin, for some reason, thought the he would carry around the post newspaper and his Easter basket. It took him about three minutes to realize he couldn't put eggs in his basket like that. (And please ignore the messy porch.)

And of course, Kailey and Andrew were fighting over almost every egg. There was a yard FULL and they both wanted the same egg at the same time!

My sweet babies, can always bring a smile to a momma's face!

Thanks for stoppin' by!

Pretzzzzzzzzzzzzzzel

I found this soft pretzel recipe here. So, being a lover of all things carbs, I gave it a whirl.

My pretzel balls;

My big helper Andrew

Twisting the pretzels was easier than I thought. Maybe because I spend every visit to the mall in the pretzel place. It was quiet fun actually.

Now, the part I had problems with was the baking soda bath. I made a mess and splashed it everywhere!

I put them in the oven and waited very impatiently!!!

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Just add cream cheese for a very fattening, very yummy snack!!!

Month of the Military Child

April is Month of the Military Child. And the Kansas City Royals were offering tickets at deep discounts! We took full advantage and went to watch the game Sunday the 17th against the Seattle Mariners.

We walked around the stadium before the game, and who woulda thought a baseball staduim would have a playground?? Well, not me that is for sure!

We finally got around to our seats, and they were GREAT!

The kids enjoyed themselves for about and inning and a half. Then they were bored.

They survived all nine innings. Well almost all of them...

He's so sweet!!  After the game, we got to run around the bases. It was so cool being down on the field and looking up into the stands.

See Michael? Running like a little kid! He was racing the kids around the bases. He makes me laugh!

When we got to the van, someone had written on our car! Who would just write on random cars?!

It was a great day and we all had lots of fun.
